I started my reef in October 2021 and have so far only documented the progress on Instagram @another_world_reef

I'm posting here to gain insight from other reefers as I continue with my goal of having a flourishing soft coral reef.

I modified an existing set of drawers, turning the fronts into doors on either side. ATO, doser and temp controller should be enough for now

I slowly added fish:
Trio of Engineer Gobies 14/11/21
Pair of Bangai Cardinals 13/12/21
Pair of Clownfish 17/07/21

Hair algae, bubble algae, aiptasia and asterina starfish all appeared. The tank was looking at it's worst to date around May.

I increased my CUC, including turbo snails, an emerald crab and hermits, manually removed, dosed with an anti-aiptasia product and increased water changes from 8l to 10l and finally to 18l weekly.

I made a series of rubble and frag plate islands for zoas. They made the front of the tank look too busy in the end and trapped detritus, so i removed them. Around the same time, I subtly rescaped to allow more waterflow around the back of the scape
