Waterbox shipping is slow

Someone else may have inside knowledge, but maybe you've just ordered a popular product that is currently in production vs being in-stock?

I waited too, about eight weeks, and finally I have it.

I cancelled my order and went with Inovative Marine. Waterbox is a joke.
I really want this size tank, I’ve waited this long and I keep thinking any day they will call and say it’s shipped. Customer service has been a pain. I tried contacting them and they just offered to cancel my order and start over, which I didn’t want to do yet.

Thought maybe you guys were waiting on their custom builds.

My waterbox custom took about 6 months from the time I ordered until it was delivered, but it was worth the wait.

Nvm… looks like all most places that sell them say they ship directly from waterbox…

Best bet would,be if a LFS sold them and had one in stock.

I ordered from my local retailer. It’s a waterbox 330.7
I get there is a delay but 6 months? It was ordered June 2nd with an original delivery date of July 3rd

It was not back ordered. My original delivery date was July 3rd. It was ordered on June 2nd. At the time of ordering it was in stock.
Must have a high demand of tanks being drop shipped. What did customer service say. I’ve had great great experience over the summer contacting them about my tank. I’ve bought mine in June and everything went smooth

Customer service was a bunch of idiots. I called and asked them what was going on and they told me to reach out to the LFS. I said it’s no big deal and I didn’t want to cause issues because they didn’t know. They then emailed the LFS saying I was trying to cancel my order when I did not say or indicate that whatsoever. I’m now fearful to contact them ( waterbox) because I don’t want them screwing up the order.

This is time sensitive because it is replacing a Red Sea 750 v2 with a seam that’s about to fail. I got tubs on standby, but the Red Sea tank is 4 years old and the bottom seam is slowly going.
