I ordered my tank on June 2nd 2025 they have given me 5 shipping dates so far, the latest was November 12th. It still has not shipped. It has me wondering about this company, I get it things are backed up but it’s going on 6 months!
Wow, which tank did you order? I ordered a 65.4 all in one and going on a month now still no shipping in sight. I have contacted them several times and they post the same BS message. SO far i am not impressed especially after reading some of your posts here. They continue to have sales and are likely selling tanks, but why are they still doing sale specials when they clearly have an issue on their back end shipping? This is unprofessional and Im about to cancel the order and make them pay me interest on the money I gave them. They clearly need to update the information on their website as well.

Got mine delivered on Monday. Ordered in July. It was a custom tank. It was packaged amazingly and there was no damage from FedEx. This is a first on a large item. Usually they show up the damage on the packaging.

Have some patience

Mine showed but fed ex put a hole through the crate. It looked intact but I need help moving it to make sure. I just wish they would be upfront about the shipping.

That's weird since it was showing in stock when I was looking around yesterday.

Man, I give you props for waiting 6 months, I have some patience but not 6 months worth 😂. I'm just over a month since placing my order with IM and I'm already itching like a fiend.

It was a custom tank, so I knew the lead time when I ordered it. It actually went to production pretty fast, but then it had to ride a boat over the ocean, and then it was stuck at the port for awhile.

I ordered my Waterbox INFINIA Reef 190.5 during the Blue Friday sale and have been waiting since. No update. I know it’s still early, but it’s already starting to feel unlikely that it will arrive within the advertised 4–6 week “Standard Lead Time.” I really can’t afford to wait 4–6 months, especially with my old 125-gallon system failing. For now, I’ll see what happens once we pass the 4–6 week mark. If they end up asking for 4-6 months, I may have to cancel the order. Hopefully it won’t come to that.

Maybe we should start a tracking thread so people can share actual shipping timelines instead of relying on the generic 4–6 week estimate...Not just for Waterbox, but for other brands as well.

I like this and feel 100 the same as you. I have contacted them several times and have questioned the 4-6 weeks since week 2. This Tuesday will be week 5 and I told them that there will be consequences to their actions if not shipped by week 6. They have already told me it will be several weeks after you receive a shipping date. So have called them out on their BS website. I'm in the same shoes as you because I had a Red Sea Reefer with a broken seam. SO all my livestock is in a smaller tank and hanging on for dear life until this one comes. I'm not mad that they might have shipping issues, I'm mad because their website is clearly wrong and I likely would have looked elsewhere had I known this might take double the 4-6 week initial estimate.

Let me be clear for those saying they won't wait 4 to 6 months. My tank was CUSTOM, not a standard model. The long lead time for my tank was known because it was CUSTOM aka they had to build it and then ship it overseas.

I think most are overreacting. Do you think they just have your tank and are just not shipping it to you? I'm sure as soon as they have it they'll ship it.

If you are in an emergency situation you should either go get something at your lfs or order something in stock.

I don't understand how someone having a broken existing tank is somehow Waterbox's problem.

I’m not going to complain if they ship my tank within the advertised 4–6 weeks. Honestly, even 6–8 weeks would be fine. But if they already know they can’t meet that timeline at all and still keep it on the website, that’s on them. Hopefully that’s not the case. My current tank isn’t broken yet, but after almost 20 years it could fail anytime. I did look at other options, but the Waterbox tank looked great and the sale price sealed the deal. That’s why I think a tracking thread would be helpful, so people can share actual shipping timelines and know what to expect before placing an order.

I think you are missing the point. The point was made that they advertise 4-6 weeks lead time. Feel free to check their site right now for this particular setup (AIO 65.4 gallon is not a custom tank), you will see the advertised time. You will also see that they keep pushing the holiday sale to increase revenue. So I'm going on week 5 with no estimated shipping or delivery. The customer service rep told me myself that there will be "several weeks" for delivery AFTER they get a shipping notice. So the website is VERY misleading. Nobody is blaming Waterbox for another company's seam failures. I'd just prefer to have honest information upfront when I am dropping $2K on a new tank. Tired of getting pushed around by companies (big or small). It is on the consumer to make sure they are being held accountable. "Reputation" is the tip of the spear in a capitalist society; I don't mind sharing facts. Here is another fact: https://www.ftc.gov/legal-library/browse/rules/mail-internet-or-telephone-order-merchandise-rule

I didn't miss the point. You created an account here to complain about Waterbox, and complain on their (as you stated) "BS" website when you haven't even reached the 6 week shipping window you were given. Your also threatening consequences for them .....

It's obviously you with the problem and if I was Waterbox I'd just cancel your order. You'll be nothing but a problem as a customer.

I didn't start this tread, but found it and yes. I decided to create an account to express MY experiences thus far. You seem to like to put your nose in others business, which is very problematic for online threads. Please keep your opinions to yourself. I didn't ask for your opinions.

I didn't ask for yours either. So we're even.

If your so displeased why didn't you just cancel? I'm curious.

Just so we are clear, mine was not a custom order, It was the standard waterbox 330.7
I’ve heard of the smaller aquariums shipping a bit faster, and the tank looks well built, I just wish they would have been upfront on the shipping time. It wouldn’t have changed my mind on the purchase, but I would have planned things much differently.

Ya there's patience and understanding, then there's straight up misleading and unreasonable. That would have ticked me off, I would surely have canceled after 3 months. I look at it this way, I paid a lot of money for promised goods between a certain date range, you can't hold on to my money on a false promise but I'm sure they also know you likely would never have given your money to them if they were truthful and said 10 month wait on a non custom tank. Even Innovative Marine has a shorter wait time for "Made to Order" 🤣

Just got word from IM that my tank is also stuck at the port and will be delayed till mid January so seems to be an issue at the moment for anyone buying tanks that aren't in stock ready to ship.

I’m entering week 4 after this weekend and haven’t seen any updates since the order confirmation email. It would be helpful to receive some status updates. For example, whether the order has been sent to the factory, and if the tank is currently under construction. Sometimes I’m also wondering whether the order has already been sent to the factory in China (?). With the Lunar New Year holiday coming up in February, I’m a bit concerned about the delays if the tank is not shipped before then.

For now, I’ll continue to wait and plan to contact Waterbox after week 6 if there are no updates.

Anybody else have issues with Waterbox taking forever to ship out a tank? I'm on week 8 and my new tank still hasn't shipped.
Waterbox is a joke. I put them right down there with Red Sea.
