How nano is nano? Like 5g or 40g? I like multiple small wave makers more than 1-2 big boys. Hygger mini is nice and small so easy to fit multiple on a small nano. it’s a nice wide cone but not very focused so don’t expect it to move much past 16”. I have midsize jebao in a 20 that’s honestly too big (smaller would be better) but it’s very nice, two of those in a 40 would be really nice.

Jebao ELW-3m is a "Nero style" wavemaker that maxes out at 660gph. It is the lowest flow, controllable wavemaker I've found, and works GREAT in tiny tanks.

For reference, the Hygger Mini's MINIMUM setting is about the same as the Jebao's MAXIMUM setting.

Hi do you know if you can run multiple pumps in a sync and anti-sync operations within the tank?

40 litres? That's about 11 gallons. That is a pretty small tank. I run a 15 gallon and have had the different power heads people are mentioning here and those will propel your tank to outer space!

I have ended up with an Jebao SLW 3 and it's perfect. But even then I am running it at the lowest setting.

I would not recommend anything bigger that that. Unless you have all SPS. I keep mostly LPS.

What size is your tank? I just ordered two of them (ELW-5M) model from Amazon, for a 20 gal AIO mixed

15 gal AIO. I think the equivalent to my SLW 3 would be the ELW 3M. Although I think the size difference between ELW 3M and 5M is pretty small and since you have a 20 gal, that sounds like it would be great. Depending on your livestock and rock work, it may be just right or too much. I'd be surprised if it wasn't enough, unless we're talking all SPS in your tank.

I have a mixed...I have two ZJKT Bluetooth wavemakers on it right now (had them for 2yrs, going on 3), however, one of them keeps getting jammed, with nothing visually and after soaking it in citric acid, still jams, so its time to replace them both.

Here's a comparison shot of the ELW-3m and the MLW-5

It's actually a good bit smaller. Flow difference is 660gph for the 3 and 790gph for the 5.

This is super helpful! Thanks for sharing and definitely glad I got the smaller of the two for my 15 gal.
