Had a piece of tinted acrylic cut for me in place of the elos doors it's gloss black when there's no light behind it, but shows through when the fuge light is on!

I used clear velcro stick tabs to hold it in place so it can be removed easily.

I may put a led strip in the stand so that I can see through it when the kessil isn't on.

Installed a pair of the ecotech diffusers. Very pleased with how it cuts down on the TV static effect that was very noticeable before, the tank also looks visable brighter due to the compensation from upping the intensity. I am however pretty disappointed with the build quality of the diffuser itself, it does not sit flush and I had to pry and move around the LED puck wires quiet a bit to get it to sit even close to correctly, I had noticed other people making this comment on BRS and other sites that have a review section.

Tank is doing really great so far, have started to add a few more corals, started my zoa garden, my jawbreakers are looking amazing and I've got several new babies off them.

Sps growing great as well!

Chaeto in the refugium is dang near growing out of the water, coraline starting to take hold all over the tank, couldn't be happier with how things are going.

All the temporary rock that I used to seed the tank in bottom left has been taken out. This is the "first" REAL FTS as far as I'm concerned [emoji16]!

Cheers everyone.

Still alive, but just barely after the holidays. The tank came out through several big storms and power outages that had me keeping a generator running for several days.

Haven't added much in terms of new stock, the stuff that is in there is doing great so far, the only new addition being a midas blenny.

I let my fuge go a bit too long before harvesting chaeto and as a result saw a spike in someone unwater algae. The tang gang seems dead set on not touching it so I finally bit the bullet and ordered a small cleanup crew from reef cleaners.

Other than that tho nothing much else, regular 15 gallon water changes, I did order a Hannah cal checker to go with my alk, I figure I am getting close to needing to start dosing with the sps growth.

Plan on adding some more sps here in the next few months. Here's hoping for a great year for this tank!

Looks amazing man! I love the scape nice and open! I run the tunze 6095s in my elos but had to add a few mp40s up front to get more flow due to the 31" width. Good to see another elos!

Still clipping along. Tank is doing fantastic, I have started dosing BRS 2 part to keep up with demands of frags that are starting to really take off.

I have been taking my time with placement of corals in this tank and have tried to keep my hands out of it as much as possible, I think the results I am seeing is a direct link to me not mucking with anything in this tank, Have not touched flow or lighting whatsoever, taking a very set and forget mindset to it.

Got a nice chunk of homewrecker, I am excited to see how it grows out! I have a Walt Disney that is growing great so fingers crossed this guy does great. My jawbreakers are still dropping babies like crazy as well, I hope they keep it up!

HomeWrecker!

Well easy come, easy go I suppose. I won't go into specifics but long story short I got acro eating flatworms and my tank is now currently sps free for the next 3 months. It sucks, don't know how they got into the tank, but it is what it is. 2 steps forward, 1 step back.

The rest of the tank is doing fantastic other than that. I've been focusing on other corals and fish while I wait to delve back into sps.

I ordered a DD jump guard the other day after coming home and finding my trigger fish flopping around on the floor, he's fine but it's time to accept the fact that I need something to keep the fish in the tank.

Added some new fish recently, 3 lyretail anthias and a yellow corris wrasse.

Current fish list:
2 clowns
1 blue throat trigger
1 midas blenny
3 red stripe cardinals
1 yellow tang
1 tomini tang
1 blue tang
1 yellow corris wrasse
3 lyretail anthias

Just realizing now I have quite a lot of fish [emoji23]. Water quality has been no issues with the large fuge.

Fragged up my jawbreaker pile finally, I had quite a few to say the least!

Also after much debate last night I finally decided to order a larger skimmer after a bottle of wine, I love my reep octopus 110 so I decided to just go bigger with the same model and got myself a 150 INT!

Was never a fan of the look of the aquatic life hybrid and the price point of the Guisemann hybrids being a little high I decided to take a stab at my own light when I came across a super cheap ati fixture.

I gutted everything and rebuilt everything.

Everything sits flush inside the light, fans are set to exhaust on the light so the radions pull air into the light and then the ati lights blow it out the top.

Really happy with how it came out and I love the look of it.
