Website design

So im working on a website for myself. I do illustration/graphic design but everything usually comes back to my tank. I wanted to do something that involved a reef or reef tank if you will. It is still a work in progress. I plan on adding some animations/roll overs that will link to other pages and fill in some of the structures as well. Im kinda going for a cartoonish but yet natural look. Thanks Mike

In all honesty WnYreefer, I really like your boxfish logo but I am not quite sure what I am looking at. Is it an egg or something under the water? Could probably maybe detail it a little bit more to help people understand what the structure is but other than that it looks pretty cool.

Thanks!, When i went snorkeling in Key Large a few months ago I remember seeing this big circle/oval rock with coral on it. I also got a vid of it "only a few seconds though." I am planning to put some kind of faint texture on it with other sea life on it. Just dont want it to get to busy. I just finished and eel that goes in the opening. I plan on having it animated to move back and forth after a fish and then disappear when it scrolled over. And the sea star will move once i get the animation going later on. Ill post up a new pic.

Now that looks a lot better man! Just a little bit of something in there to give the viewers an idea of what their looking at. That is going to be really cool when you get done animating it.

Just wanted to give an update since its been a while. I am currently working on a diver that will prolly be animated going under the overhang. Im still working on it just thought i would give an update.
