Weird slimy sludge forming in filter socks!! HELP!!

I just noticed this weird slime on my filter sock silencer and even down inside my filter socks. Was not there a day or two ago. I change my socks EVERY 3 days and have NEVER seen this before

My goodness! Every thread you post is so dramatic, lol!

What's going on with your system? How long has it been set up? Have you made any changes recently? Dosing anything? Changed the light in the sump? Has anything died? Looks like some sort of bacterial sludge but it's hard to say without more information.
