Can someone tell me what this is? It’s gotten bigger with a second spot appearing next to it.

Not sure from pic; doesn't look like it is shedding
It’s otherwise very healthy, always has polyps out. It just finished shedding like a week ago. It came with the spot on it, and now it’s just gotten larger, I want to make sure it’s not some disease or something. My crab was sitting in the spot and the flakes came off and brown stuff secreted from the area. Should I cut it out?

I probably would. As you know cabbages are hardy and easy to frag. Good luck

Appears to be a majano or similar anemone

Starting to split the white peices are sclerites. They are like bone slivers and help build the reef.

I would keep an eye on it. It’s hard to tell from the pic but I have had leathers rot out and it usually starts a black hole and then spreads from there
Thats also a possibility. If you can pull it out and do an inspection. If not enough flow debris will build up and rot out the coral.

Thanks all, it’s white now and feels bone-y when I touch it with my tongs. Going to keep an eye on it, wouldn’t the polyps be in if it wasn’t doing good?
no ,not necessarily, keep eye on ,if it starts turning dark in color ,cut off bad tissue.

Than its splitting. They look white than develop a hole that will spread till a peice falls off ill get a pic later of mt devils hand. Its always dropping peices
