Weird stuff on trochus shell

Looks like just some hair algae or something to me, just want to make sure. There one of the tendrils is stiff does not move at all look for it in the video. 20240806_194311.jpg 20240806_194307.jpg

When in doubt, take it out.
May as well remove the snail and scrub the shell with an old toothbrush. You can also carefully spray some h2o2 on the shell before putting it back in the tank.
 
@ISpeakForTheSeas I'm pretty sure the wavy stuff is just algae. But do you have any Idea what that stiff tendril is on the left side?
Looking at it today, my best guess would be some kind of calcified algae beginning to grow, but I'm not sure.
 
Is it anything to worry about?
It's most likely not a major concern, but I can't say for sure without a proper ID. You could observe it and see what it grows into (it could be good or not), or you could remove it and play it safe.
