Hi all, new reefer with new 50g tank asking identification for Hermit crab.

I bought two Clibanarius tricolor crabs. Other one is legit with light blue legs but the other one is a bit different. It has dark legs and slightly more white spots on claws. It is also much more braver. It "sleeps" or rests outside on sand or somewhere else open space, whereas legit blue leg always hides and rests in caves. Legit one also hides in to its shell when something happens near. Dark legged doesn't give a s*** about anything.

Photo about Jaska (finnish name) attached.
It also replaced its shell on second day after arrived. New shell was almost same size but much more beautiful than old one.

What he is? No blue legs...

I have no idea what crab you have but I am happy it got a nicer place to live.
