Yeah that’s really the most convenient way to do this actuallyI'll just send you my paycheck tomorrow.
I’m just going to need for you to give me your banking info….you know so I can put my paycheck directly in there.Yeah that’s really the most convenient way to do this actually
Yeah..i am the same. My wife and her fam like going to out and fighting crowdsI went one time and I absolutely hated being crammed into a store to try and save a few dollars on whatever garbage toy my kids wanted that year. I never did it again.
I don’t actually mind Black Friday now that we almost only shop online. My wife and I will sit on the couch and ignore each other to play on our phones anyway, it might as well be to shop.
you forgot point 6: Stupidity5 Cognitive Biases That Explain the Psychology of Black Friday
1. Fear of Missing Out (FOMO)
2. Scarcity
3. Social Proof
4. The Commitment and Consistency Principle
5. Anchoring Effect
1. FOMO (Fear Of Missing Out)
2. Scarcity Effect “selling out fast,”
3. Social Proof Social Proof’ describes how individuals look to others for reassurance when they are unsure how to behave.
4. Commitment and Consistency So, you’ve spent hours on-line, and searched for bargains. That was a significant commitment to make, both in terms of time and in effort. So how do you justify it? Well, you make a purchase (or two, or three…).
5. Anchoring Effect Stores often display the original price of the product ($59.99) struck through above the new reduced price ($39.99). Individuals use the first piece of information they are presented with as a point of reference when making judgements about subsequent pieces of information.
Looks like all of the BF sales just dropped....as I said, black friday is all but meaningless from a consumer perspective. All of the stores generally have the same pricing because of MAP and the sales prices are pretty much just giving us last year's pricing. yes, it is appreciated for a price break..but the 'scoring a deal' aspect of BF and the pageantry and excitement are gone. It is now just like any other mid year sale. At best, this is being used as a clearance sale of unwanted stuff which we would normally find on the clearance rack if we went into a store.I have pretty much given up that black friday meaning anything anymore. Now that we have certain companies that are putting up black friday deals as of the first week in november (with others following suit just to keep up) has removed any meaning or nostalgia from black friday. Add on top of that that with VERY few exceptions, the deals you get on black fridays for the last few years are generally just the same sales (or WORSE) than take place during the year. Take Neptune's Vortech sale...they outright said that their last sale was the best you were going to see this year. With mentality like that...why waste time on black friday?
