It's a cool acro for sure, and one I've probably sent out over 100 frags of in boxes over the years. The Loom's a refreshingly good grower and really hardy all around. I finally got a few decent pics of this gem and put it up on the site today. Super impressive under blues.

Awesome. I’ve got one but it’s a Green turd. Can’t get it to grow for anything!

I know that feeling man believe me. Once they do finally turn the tide acros can seem to grow quite fast. Can be painful sometimes to get to that point though

Bubba, always liked your acro pics. Much nicer than the crazy Asian pics from Texas. Which lights do you use? Sorry for the thread jack Adam.

After seeing your thread I figured I would go take a pic of mine that I got from you.

RR Rainbow loom by Bubba Rivas, on Flickr

Looks great! What par do you think you are under? I have a frag from BC also currently sitting in 450 about. It is lighting up a lot from when I got it. Not a nutrient issue.. it may be to much light I'm thinking? PE is good and it's encrusting.

I think mine are around 350-500 max. My t5 colony has always looked the best in my opinion, and he's getting the least par of all of them all.

Mine is about what Adams lower side is with around 300 - 350 but mine is under LED. I use to blast it will light but I noticed you only get one color out of it like that and if you want some of the green to put it lower.

Thanks for the feedback. I moved it the other day to about 350. I checked it out at night with a flashlight and noticed how pale it really went. Only the base had any color, everything else was pale white. It should recover in time. I'm running T5.
