My Sun Polyps and Dendro's were really happy after I fed them brine shrimp and oyster feast.

I love how the mp10's current moves both their tentacles as they wave Hello!

Enjoy the video.

Pkunk35, thanks for letting me know. I fixed the link.

I originally copy and pasted the link using my Galaxy S3, but I guess it doesn't work that way.

In the future I will only post pictures and video through my pc.

very nice. I also like the movement. Vortechs are awesome! 1smile1

MarvinsReef, Yes I love how the Vortechs move so much water. I have both set to constant at 30% and my LPS corals are more than happy with the water current.\

Very sweet, need some good full tank shots.

Yes, when I get a better lens for my Nikon D60, I'll take more fts.

I've tried with my 50mm lens and Galaxy S3, but it just doesn't come out nice.

Ok, today I received my 1st batch of chalices; However, I wasn't too happy that FedEx experienced delays in delivering my package.

I was supposed to receive the chalices by 10:30am, but due to unexpected circumstances, the package didn't arrive at my office until after 3:30pm.

Here are a few pics of the chalices, but they are heavily stressed out. It will take a few weeks/months before they reach their optimum color potential.

Here are (2) freebies I received.

The Golden Galaxy is heavily stressed, but LPS corals are very easy to nurse back and can't wait to see this chalice all happy and puffed up.

Great video and nice pickups! Those will come back in no time!

Thanks for visiting my build thread and watching my sun polyp & dendro video.

I will work on getting more videos of my little reef setup.

Welcome to another coral update.

I have been real busy this past week, so I didn't get a chance to get on the computer and upload all these pictures. Enjoy!

I received my 2nd batch of chalices/corals from Joe Knows Reef on 1/23/13.

My Miami
This chalice will be for my growout and one I will use to frag. Hopefully.
My Miami a.jpg

JF Crazy Fox
I'm glad to add this to my collection of chalices. I dub the 3 JF chalices as the "Trifecta"

Tangerine Dreams
"Booger" sized 2cm pieces were a myth until I actually received one. I guess some people have to make their money one way or another.

Joe's "Unknown"
This is a new chalice, so it'll be interesting to see how this colors up.

Lol, wow. Those are some tiny pieces for chalices. I sure hope you got a steal of a deal on those, I'd be pretty upset if I didn't know what I was supposed to be getting.

Darwin, I'll be creating a new thread on my Joe Knows Reef Tangerine Dreams chalice.

I'll post it up in a few days.

It's a beautiful day. I have another update on corals I received earlier this morning/afternoon.

Below is a Bleeding Apple Scoly I received from Ian (Reef Odyssey). I have been waiting for such a long time to add a Scoly to my collection of corals, but I just didn't see any that caught my eye and didn't cost a arm and a leg.

As I was browsing through Reef Odyssey's previous for sale threads, I came across a sweet looking Bleeding Apple Scoly. I sent Ian a pm hoping that the coral was still available, and to my luck, it was.

If anyone is interested in purchasing corals from Ian (Reef Odyssey), I recommend his professional manner, quick responses and great selection of corals.

Here is a picture I took right out of the bag. To me it looks like it has a huge smile on it's face...Welcome home!

Next, is a Blue Agave frag. I already have a Blue Agave, but it looks more like a regular Red People Eater (RPE). It has some white on the inner and out disc, but it just doesn't look as attractive as this one.

What caught my eye are the interchanging color of the skirts.

Thanks to rlman41299 for hooking me up with a nice specimen. If any one is looking for premium Z's & P's, lookout for rlman41299, buddythelion & 408Reefer For Sale threads.

LOL, Wes... Finally found an agave with enough white to your liking? :)

LOL, Yes, I am now happy that I have a good looking Blue Agave.

I guess I'll be moving the other Blue Agave (hardly any white/RPE) to the back of the tank. Sorry to treat it like the red headed step child, but attractive frags get first dips on nice realty spots.

I know you have a super sweet Ultra PZ Blue Agave I saw in one of your build threads, but I never saw it included in any of your For Sale threads.

Yeah. Life got busy and I got a bit lasy... and next thing you know *poof.* Agaves can be tricky at first. Which is why I want a Salted Agave. :)
