Hi all, Not sure what’s going on with my clown fish he’s been acting strange lately breathing heavy laying in the sand and hanging out by the filter but eatting normal. Recently noticed some spots on his face and gills. The tanks been going now for two months and my water levels have been stabile with no spikes. This guy is the smaller of the clowns in the tank and seems to get bullied by the larger clown(took this as normal pairing). Should I be concerned I will post a picture below

I can’t see anything in the photos.

Given that you are seeing aggression (often that is pretty subtle and people miss it) I would say that fighting is the first thing to rule out.

Do you have access to one of those hang on the tank acclimation containers?

Hard to tell much on a white fish. Can you provide a video of at least 30 seconds or more pics at a side angle

Here’s a video. I know it’s tough to see but what I noticed were the red looking marks behind the eye and on the face which were not there yesterday.

Yes I have since separated the fish to let him recover if aggression is the cause. I was thinking about adding an anemone in the mean time in hopes to lure some of that aggression when he goes back into the tank otherwise I might have to separate the fish

unfortunately, all that is visible is the netting. You can treat safely in the tank with ruby rally pro which will treat for velvet- brooklynella, bacterial and flukes.
