Having too many corals or frags on the substrate
Is this tacky to you?

My brain corals need to be on the substrate lol.

The sponge bob decorations and underwater castle in my tank are tacky - but, it distracts the tangs from fighting.

Permanently having frag racks, especially the ones that look overgrown and “cluttered.”

Edit: also, the hyper glowing multicolored RGB gamer looking acrylic pieces/frag holders/etc.

My rescue sergeant major damsel destroying 1000 dollars worth of frags because I put the rack near his rock. That's my rock fish face.
I think he thinks my frag rack is tacky. He's gonna think the fish trap is tacky if he keep this up.

“Designer corals”

Mother Nature made those especially for the elite reef hobbyists

Good god, yes. I just bought a "hot lava" Milli frag and a "Strawberry Shortcake" frag. I couldn't care less about what they were called, all I wanted was to add a millepora and a microclados to my tank, and they were simply the cheapest options available to me, that weren't full-sized colonies. :)
