What’s the difference between cipro and amoxicillin

Collectors reportedly may now use them as well, but we don’t usually have much info on that.

collectors using a lil ab here and there to treat corals is absolutely trivial compared to the billions worldwide who are being prescribed ab’s
(by lazy “doctors”) for every runny nose (viral) and headache…
in some places, fake doctors have been prescribing antibiotics for every little ailment for multiple decades!

super viruses will be/ are a thing….
but we’re beyond that at this point.

we’re going to need a whole new class of antibiotics/drugs to deal with what’s (already) coming

a few reefers responsibly using antibiotics is not the issue.
the issue is the entire healthcare system here and in other parts of the world over prescribing antibiotics for simple viral infections day after day after day…
for which there is absolutely no efficacy

it’s truly beyond repair at this point.
your superviruses are absolutely already a thing

The reason these should not be used in reefing: because in 100% of cases, a total guess is placed.

That moment you realize that in medicine this is often the case as well. You think patients have the time to wait for a lab to culture the pathogen?

That said I am against OTC access to antibiotics.

We have new advancements coming to market that I feel will replace the antibiotics we rely on, and guess with, for things like bjd, rtn, stn etc. They are gaining popularity in Asia and have a strong following. I have been given one to test and provide unbiased feedback and for me, used as a dip, it’s equal or better success rate compared to KFC treatment with cipro, amoxicillin, and chemiclean combined. I have had the product for over a month and have saved numerous corals that came in poor condition from shipping delays in winter, and other corals that have developed issues and infections from injuries

Here is one example. This torch is splitting into three heads and one of the new forming heads developed bjd and was wasting away. This typically would spread and the entire coral would be lost in 48-72 hours. I used this new product, that has no antibiotics, and stopped the issue from spreading the the coral survived. I was surprised to see positive improvement later the same day of the dip. And now 2 weeks later the coral is still alive and improving

Do you know what’s in it?

I have several examples of corals showing improvement after the use of this product, including torches that were severely receded, showing skeletal ridges, and black polyp tips. Using the dip, the coral healed and survived, and is still with me today.

It appears, to their claim, that RNA is part of the formula but they don’t want to be copied and won’t give specifics.

I had doubts, but it has reversed problems and healed things I wouldn’t have expected

I dipped the above coral right after I took the photos. 20 minute dip. 30 min later…

24 hours later…
