Came as a hitchhiker a couple years ago and almost indestructible. Made it through 2 crashes (broken heater and house air conditioning going out).

Sweepers out all the time when fed. It used to have more heads.

It looks like a type of anemone. ALmost like aptasia except clear. #reefsquad
 
I had a big one that I thought was a BTA. It did not spread until I messed with it:rolleyes: then I bought a matted filefish to take care of the outbreak;)

There's like 20 different species of aiptasia, some more common than others, and I too agree that this is one of them :) I find it a bit odd that you only have that many haha

Edit: added this post before we were made aware of the calcified base :rolleyes:
 
Smaller rock. When retracted they have a calcified base

Poke it with a stick and take another picture, please :) if it has a base it may be a hitchiking coral of some sort.

I would suggest getting out of the tank before poking it:)

This had me rolling, my wife says that EXACT thing about anything she sees but doesn't know what it is.;Hilarious
