What is this and how do I make it go away lol. Tank is almost 5 months old. Nitrates are around 5 to 10. Have 3 margarita snails and 4 turbos. 3 blue leg hermit crabs and they don't seem to be putting a dent in it. Any suggestions ?

Just normal film algae/diatoms possibly. Tank looks pretty new. It will likely go away on its on if you aren't over feeding. Those new rocks need to go through some ugly stages before they look good.

Agree. The tank looks great for its age IMO!

This is normal, part of the life cycle of rock. You'll get lime green > dark green > ugly brown > ugly brown mixed with spots of tiny coralline > mostly coralline. It's going to take a long time. I'm 6 months in and my coralline to ugly brown is competing.
