I see a bunch of little centipedes on the rocks in my tank. Should I be worried?

Probably bristleworms. Can’t know until you post a picture.

If you overfeed, they will eat all the left overs. After a good meal the next thing they want to do is have sex. This leads to more of them. If your tank is over run you can suck them out with a turkey baster at night. Try not to feed so much at one time.

They can only reproduce as fast as they have actual nutrition to do so. They cannot just live on poo and gunk and grow out of control. They will grow to equilibrium with the ecosystem and the amount of stuff that needs cleaned up. They are very effective.
