Hi
I have just discovered a large amount of something all over my glass. There are also tons of copepods in daylight all over the glass and many of these "things". What are they? They do not move and are the size of large copepods.

Are they all that shape? Possible to get a slightly zoomed out clearer picture, maybe of a couple?

I'll try with white light tonight. They are all pretty well identical.

The white light is worse. However I will say that there are let's say 5 over every 2cm x 2cm. They don't move. And, cleaning the glass with the usual felt type cleaner doesn't remove them. You need a razor blade.

Have you tried getting one of these things off the glass? Is it squishy/hard/slimy?

I could imagine it's some small sponge starting to grow. They can have quite weird shapes, but that they all look so similar is odd. It should be more random in that case.
