ok forgive me but i'm new to the whole forum thing. My husband has been doing the reef tank for roughly 8 or so years now. Me 2 years. Now he has had these two mushroom looking things for a very long time now and he still doesn't know what they are. He did not buy them. They just appeared on the rock and have grown to a vrey large size. There has always been two. They don't move, they don't split, or frag or any of that. I have done some looking and believe they are mushroom anemoes, but i am unsure. Some insight would be helpful.

They can get huge! Some have reported them eating little fishys. But can be really pretty!

I have other rhodactis mushrooms and they split and move around how come these two don't they have been on the same rock for 8 years or more

Well like i said we have tried to look these up and to us they look like mushroom anemoes. They are about the only thing that reall fits the profile to me because they haven't split. We have a purple atlantic anenome that is almost 5yrs old and it has never multiplied either.
