i have seen a total of 4 of these they just popped up out of nowhere. are they good or bad?

Those look more like chitons than limpets to me - they're a little longer, mine at least, like to hang out just below the sand during the day, and they'll have a segmented "plate-mail" look to them, while limpets will appear as a single cone-shaped shell.

Either way, they're a great part of your Cleanup Crew!
