What are you doing for a CBB

I am having a CBB in my 40 gal breeder temporary. CBB can be hard on the Fauna in a 40 system so I also feed him one cube of the small mysis in AM and another in PM. I need to get somebody to take him. He finish all the aiptasia in my QT system. I went on vacation for 1 month. I changed out some of the rock in the QT and load it up with several rock full of aiptasia (I have more to spare) The house sitter dis not need to feed the tank, I have it on full automated. I also put a huge amount of algae in my main tank.
When I got back a month later. No aiptasia at all in my QT and all the algae in my DT are gone. The fish are still fat, include all my CBB

I should try and post a video of my CBB going to the feeder for the food that thaws, the CBB pulls out a chunk, and all the other fish are watching and circling, like hungry piranhas, waiting to strike as the food escapes the feeder.

Exnisstech, you find worms and feed them? I’ve read about others using earthworms on the forum
I do feed worms. We have 5 wooded acres so I just walk around and flip over rocks and logs looking for them. Copperbands have to be quick to get them and swim away fast tho or the naso will suck them down.

Those that enticed feeding with clams, did you buy fresh clams every few days or can you buy a weeks worth and just freeze a few but use them fast enough that they dont freezer burn?

I had a very picky CBB , wouldn’t eat clam , squid , mysis , ect,

He loved aptasia and feather duster worms and cleaned house in the DT , I had to cycle rocks from the sump. Eventually tho I got him on pellets , I think the key with that was consistency with feeding in the same spot / CBB feeling good , as you can see in the pic he was always with his squad and once he saw them eating the pellets (they sank to ground ) he copied that and would eat pellets on sandbed

I buy large chowder clams and freeze them myself.
