Nobody wants to see their beautiful reef destroyed by some form of pest...whether it's an invasion of aiptasia or the tragic acropolypse of AEFW or fishmaggedon by cryptocaryon irritans (marine ich)... So we all should have some form of rules or processes for avoiding introducing these evils into our tanks. What are your rules/tips for avoiding pests in your tank?

I've had planaria and dinoflagellates.
All I can say is inspect and be cautious and dip all your coral. 5mins. Swish it around. Rinse in saltwater and plant

Quarantine. Buddy gave me some frags and I have been fighting aiptasia for 2 years. Doesn't have to be long, a few days and these evil spawns of Satan will show themselves
Dip of course.
