I was using the stock gravity fed ATO that came with my reefer 350 but somehow the float got messed up and is just on. I like it ( I like the simplicity and the small resevoir keeps big accidents from happeing) but I'm having trouble finding a replacement float so I was wondering what everyone else is using? Or does anyone know where to find the replacemnt float?

I think the most popular would be the Tunze ATO. They have two, the nano having only one float, the larger one having multiple.

There’s the Duetto if you’re looking for a small unit.

I haven’t used Red Seas ATO, but that’s an option too.

Apex and Hydros both have their own that easier connect to the controller, depending on which controller you have.

If you can make it fit, a ATO reservoir that holds 5+ gallons make it much easier on yourself.

I’m sure others will chime in to help!

Is this what your looking for?

From what I remember on my reefer 250 those floats are fairly universal and any of the 1/4" small size floats should work out. I have one on my brute can that looks just like the red sea one and size.

As far as ATO, I currently have the XP Duetto 2 which worked fine on my nano but it's giving me a lot of problems once i.put it on my 80g AIO. The magnet barley holds on and it's constantly beeping at me thinking it's over filling because the return section is just much larger now.

I think the best from what I hear is the Tunze but it's also very pricey but I guess you get what you pay for with ATO's

Awesome, thank you! I just set this tank up a little over a month ago. Before that I had a biocube lol So I'm still learning about all of the big boy stuff

okay maybe I can find one of those universal ones, but I'm just now discovering all of the other options I didn't know existed haha

Aglae Barn also still has the older Tunze Osmolator2 ATO (at least they did a few weeks ago when I bought it).

I'm using a Avast ATO (1-1/2 years) on one tank and a JBJ ATO ( 10 years) on another tank.

I purchased a Red Sea ATO last week and set it up over the weekend. I like it so far. it has an app that tells me how much was filled in the hour, it also tell me the temp so good to see if it matches the current Inkbird temp set. Today it sent me a notification to say it has shut the pump off as the Reservoir was empty (I forgot to check it this morning).

im using a jebao ato with a autotopoff.com emergency high water shutoff float switch just in case, which shuts off all dosing and ato in case anything happens. but im in an apartment and super crazy about not having a leak. also only costs $70 with everything. it is pretty much a design copy of the tunze osmolator 2 + dosing pump protection

Tunze Nano Osmolator!

I'm using the Tunze Osmolator 3 on my 50g and Tunze nano on my frag tank. I've used the 3 on the 50g for over a year and I have no zero issues with it. So far, it's been very reliable and easy to use.
