What color to use?

Is Cyano red under blue only lights? I find that algae appears different colors under different lighting? What color spectrum should one use to determine what the algae or bacteria is?

Cyano can appear under whites too

OK so does it still look red under white lights. Or can it be red under blue and brown under white?
