My gsp has grown on that arch in the middle, and seems like its going down to my lps colony.

The arch is cemented. Cant take it out

you're cooked :rolling-on-the-floor-laughing: this is why many folks think GSP is the devil

Maybe try a razor blade to prune and keep it at bay?

Cover it with epoxy puddy for a longgggggg time, you will need to ensure it isn't thin, then once you see it is completely dead/gone take off the epoxy, if any small spots in between the different bits of epoxy applied shows up I would use Kalk paste as suggested, you need to be proactive (check to make sure it doesn't show back up) if you want to completely remove it from the rock without removing it from the water.

Can you use a screwdriver to "surgically" pry apart that piece of the arch at the glue joints to remove the rock covered in GSP?

I was able to peel 88% of it. While its in the water

Do i add puddy for the rest?

I’d recommend covering the rest with epoxy. Once that’s done, the waiting begins. In the meantime, you could grow corals on the epoxy or just let it sit until you’re ready to remove it. It's ugly for a while buts its better than having to pull out rocks. In my experience, the GSP tends to grow through thin layers or around the epoxy's edges if given the chance, so you may need to apply more later. Even if it stays in the dark for a long time and bleaches out, it can bounce back quickly unless it’s completely dead. Im not exactly sure how long it will take in your tank for it to die under the epoxy but be patient! I’ve removed epoxy with GSP that was 90% bleached white, and it still recovered fast—it’s a weed as they say. If any GSP remains after removing the epoxy, you and should reapply the hardened old in the same spot or add new epoxy as needed. It took months, longer than I would have liked to be honest, but I’ve successfully cleared large amounts of GSP off huge rocks that couldn’t be removed. Hope that helps!
