So I came across this today!
IMG_2864.PNG

This is artificial rock, It has removable shelves which also are drilled with frag holes.
I found this just in time because I was just about to scape the tank.
Now that I've found this I'm having second thoughts about "real rock" and thinking about this artificial rock:rolleyes:
I'm planning on doing SPS coral with a few LPS.
Thoughts on this?

I know a few people that have stuff similar to this. They work pretty well IMO. Only thing to consider is you will still need live rock. Maybe in a sump or what ever. These are not very porous (at least the ones I have seen) so dont provide much surface area for bacteria. Also live rock contains a buffering capability that this can not.

Did you use this and where did you find this artificial rock?

I have a very similar structure in my 93 cube and there is no better centerpiece and layout for some beautiful frags.

This OP post is from 2016 (?)

Honestly, I think it looks like smthg my wife would buy to hold her jewelry on her dresser

It looks unnatural, meaning smthg you wouldn't find in a wild reef environment

Just sayin.....
