I do weekly water changes, and test my parameters weekly or twice a week. Just ordered a ClearView Lid for my tank yesterday so I will be waiting to buy anymore livestock until that comes. Lost two wrasse from jumping in two weeks, decided to buy a lid before I get anymore fish!

Took the time to drain and remove over an inch of detritus from my sump and clean the chaeto.

In the process did a 30gallon water change and replaced my return pump and skimmer pump.
Red cyano just started to appear so I figured it was a good time to really clean the sump which had been bothering me. The water I removed looked like mud.

Going to replace carbon and add some Seachem Purigen to polish the water and lower the phosphates. Gave the reef a little TLC it badly needed

I’ve been pretty busy with my tank:
Repaired a second hand Deltec AP850 and installed it.
Made egg crate frag racks for frag tank.
Today I put substrate back in the tank after a year of bare bottom.
I’ve ordered a 72watt UV steriliser
I’m going to buy some Peppermint Shrimps for a Aiptasia issue
On the hunt for a nice Carpet Anemone or Ritteri for my Anemone tank.

1.). Finish inner door for touchscreen on equipment side.
2.). Buy mouthwash
3.). Order water storage tanks (then puke when I see the freight charges).
4.). Gargle #2.
5.). Complete checklist for water mixing station and dosing station in equipment room.

Well for this week:
1. Clean some algae off my rocks/water change
2. Mount new light for fuge
3. Reef dreams

Got my new light for my Refugium idea in my AIO today. Gotta figure out how to mount it on the back of the tank (current plan is Velcro). Hopefully I can get a Refugium to work I know several people have said it’s super hard to get one to work in an AIO but I’m gonna give it a shot.
Second reef dreams is this weekend so my wife and I are headed down to hopefully stock up on some corals and other awesome stuff. Wish list for corals is 3-5 rock flowers, 2-3 zoas, 1-2 acans, maby a birds nest or pc rainbow.
