Ok I think i figured it out. Its my dam hermit crab. Just caught one crawling one the hammer. Tried to take it off and it was holding on. I did get it off with no more damage done at least. It is still alive too. Frikin crab. Gonna have to move the hammer somwhere else.

I don’t keep any for that reason.
Always a problem somewhere down the road.
At least you caught it early.
