Hello all,
My neighbor noticed my interest and convinced me to buy their well used aquarium. They had had it for several years and had lost interest. This was around the end of 2019. Over the last several months I have had quite the expedition through the world of saltwater aquariums. This included, but was not limited to, aiptasia, green-hair algae, red algae, bristle worms, replacing a protein skimmer, and a catastrophic leak that resulted in a hasty transition of five fish to a Q-tank while I attempted repairs. After all that, losing a Royal Gamma and a Coral Beauty, and much more, I knew it was time to make an account and start asking questions. I know there is no going back now, as I am invested and fascinated.
I plan to do a build thread and then post a thorough plan on how to deal with a massive aiptasia infestation here soon but, until then, I am glad to be a part of the R2R community.
