R2R is the reason for my Insomia
Tested mag,ca,alk, ammonia, nitrate, nitrite, phosphate, salinity, temp
Inspected for leaks.
Cleaned skimmer
Dropped skimmer
Recleaned skimmer
Scrapped glass and back wall
Broadcast fed corals.
Bragged about it

Refilled calcium reactor.
One day, I think I'd really like to switch to dosing alk & Ca. Not only is the reactor hard to adjust, but as the media level decreases, and channeling increases, alk and Ca values decrease along with pH. I do like dissolving coral skeleton, as it just seems so logical.
Maybe I just need a larger, better reactor and fine control valve. [emoji3]

Saturday i added 3 black lined blennies, setup 29 gal tank to start cycling for holding and quarantine, added 20 lbs. more sand to new frag tank, did 30 gal water change, created portable cleaning filter with pump to recirculate water during tank cleaning.

Cleaned and adjusted skimmer on wife's 20long.

I turned This.....
into this...
and once I was done I cleaned up that cord octopus back there. went through entire bag of zip ties lol.

Rearranged some rock today; cleaned a frag rack and plugs of zoas I had neglected, and mounted some more loose frags off my sand bed. Tidying up. [emoji6]

Added 3 yellow tail blue damsels last week

Just a cleaner install, and those flex tubes I was having to replace them every couple of months they just became a total eye sore. Im actually right now building a new sump and will be redoing the entire plumbing... so that was a practice run lol.

I'm setting up my refugium. I've added 2 Emerald crabs (1 in tank and 1 in refugium), 15 Astria snails, did water change, changed filter socks, cleaned protein skimmer (got it set up this week)
