I perform inspections / calibration on clean rooms, O.R. rooms, laminar flow devices (where IV drugs are made), chemical fume hoods, biological safety cabinets, isolation rooms, laboratories, pharmacies and many other forms of controlled environments.

Nice, I'm a consultant pharmacist for sterile compounding facilities... so I make sure they get you guys in there AT LEAST every 6 months :)

Retired sysadmin. I worked in Aerospace, IC industry, and little university in Silicon Valley called Stanford as well as the Naval Research Lab in Monterey, these guys create the programs that predict that silly thing called weather. I wasn't bored very often but being on-call 24/7 did get a bit old and messed up more than one holiday, date with my wife and family time. Reefing is now my master... lol.

Yup, national. Company is based out of Houston! There are definitely some very resistant pharmacists out there. I'm sure you'll be quite busy with all the new usp 800 construction going on.

I work in Houston quite a bit. Yeah, 800 is a mess, but i have a feeling they will have to revisit the standard at some point after the 797 revision with the risk levels changing. 800 refers to medium risk compounding rules quite a bit, and that is going away supposedly.

At the April CETA conference they said there were over 8,000 responses to the 797 proposal and that they were addressing those and would release a second version for comment "soon"

Im getting mixed info in Texas. Ive heard they weren't going to adpot 800, but then I hear they are going to mainly focus on the chemo side, and all other hazardous compounds would be on a case by case basis. Or they will just go with something like what California / Florida are doing.

I drive a flatbed as well. I work 6p.m. To 6 a.m. Everyday and all weekend 108 hours a week on call, but the pay is worth the stress.
