Came home and my Chalice coral did this! I have no clue that it is… my toadstool did slime 24 hours ago is that a catalyst?

2 things come to mind without a super close up picture...

1. Could be a spaghetti worm under the chalice spreading out...slim chance but possibly this

2. Chalice need a lot of space as they get sweepers which will try to kill other coral around it. Once they attack something this is the look of the webbing.

It Should go away but I'd find another place for it.

That’s your chalice trying to attack and kill its neighbors.
it needs more space to itself
