What is my candy cane doing???

Hi guys, I'm new to R2R. Not sure if this is the right place to post this, please let me know if there's a better place to ask, but this I've never seen my candy cane do this before, it's super inflated and there's something coming out of its mouth..

Looks to be expelling something. Could have been a molt from a arthropod or bristle worm. If expelling waste the condition should resolve within a couple hours if not then post another image if the unknown changes please. :-)
