What is my leather doing?

Just picked up a leather last week and it’s been leaning over almost the entire time. Anyone ideas what’s going on? Picture below.

Sometimes they get a little mopey. Mine occasionally does this when it's tired of being the centerpiece in my tank..Maybe try putting it in a spot where it gets a little more flow?
