Title says it all.

My choice would be a emperor angel. They look really cool but he was a mean guy. I traded him because he would attack anything even close in size to him.

I raised. Juvi emporere and he was a great fish, but there are aggressive, needs to be in a large lightly stocked tank with tank mates that can hold their own.

My entry in an angler. They just don't live that long in captivity regardless of how you care for them and get boring and tedious to care for pretty quickly. A very dismal survival raye, leave them in the ocean.

No one on a six line wrasse so far? I’m surprised.

My first six line was a model citizen. My latest, in my frag tank is a bit of a bully and is still super small so I do not have optimism that it’ll be anything short of the devil.

My poor bristle tooth tang can barely leave the back edge to clean off the algae on the frag plugs!

undulate trigger. He was fine small but as he got bigger so did his tude

Another one that should be left in the ocean, I can't imagine the misery sold to unsuspecting hobbyist every day. I see these little guys in every lfs all the time. I love them, when mine got too mean he went to a 500g where he lived out his days.

Damsels. Chases off every other small fish even in a large enough tank. And my experience of catching them didn't go so well.

Also maroon clownfish. Very aggressive and the one we got stayed in a coral (forgot which one, it was ages ago, we don't have a reef now) that led to its eventual demise.

Gymnothorax moringa. I'm pretty sure the pair wanted to kill me.

I'd never buy a pair of clowns again. One is okay, but when paired they have bi-polar behavior and can become homicidal, especially when getting ready to spawn.

So far a redhead solon fairy wrasse is the only one I wouldn’t buy again.........if I have a peaceful tank.

As far as damsels, I love my 3 azures. Too bad most people just throw all damsels into the “bad fish” category. It’s simply not true.

Love the replies, I toatally agree with at least three of the above, I have had them all.x

Tomato clowns, Diamond gobies, and would add the worst- Lemon peal angel. I literally had to break down my reef to remove it.

Tribal Blenny....took chunks out of every montipora in my tank.

I don't know if you can appreciate them but all those white marks on the chili pepper were healing places that were his handiwork.

Mystery Wrasse; great colors but murdered all my shrimp over time and never let any of my other fish get any food. Great personality though.
