I've been seeing it referred to with new buildsWhat are we talking about, the BRS method of quarantine, or something else?
I'm still not sure what you're getting atI've been seeing it referred to with new builds

Simplicity is an option? It’s a method for new reefers to try to be successful. The motto is 10% effort for 90% results. It’s about simplicity and setting one’s self up for success.
Ah yes! I forgot about the Serious Reef podcast, this make senseIm assuming you're referring to the Serious Reefs 90/10 build guide for softies / lps tanks. It's designed to improve first tank success and reduce the ugly stage to a more manageable situation. I am doing it personally, it's working out pretty well. I just don't have enough cleanup crew yet.
Serious Reefs is ran by Ryan Batcheller who used to own BRS and was the figurehead for the youtube channel before he sold the company. It's a subscription based service on youtube, patreon, and his website.

Check out my original post. Just edited it with a linkIs this from BRS, or where does this come from?
Yep, you guys are all faster and more informed than I amCheck out my original post. Just edited it with a link

not really tbh, you're just further along. Basically, at the point you're at (assuming you don't have coral) ryan recommends adding some live sand from TBS, waiting a week, then turning on the lights low (around 25%) for a short photoperiod. Then slowly ramping it up over a few weeks before putting coral in.Thank you everyone. Too late for me on this build.
Ive got a big biobrick that been sitting in my other tank for a couple months that i plan on using to seed the tank, along with aome turbo start.not really tbh, you're just further along.
