What is the "Showcase"?

It is entirely possible it has been there for the year I have been a member, but a few weeks ago I noticed it on the title bar, showing 2 "unread" whatever they are.

When I click on it, I see 8 pages of various pictures, without telling me which ones I have looked at, and which ones I have not.

I was just curious if it is a picture collection, a place for vendor pictures, or what it is?

It is supposed to be a 'general info' area for livestock profiles and LFS reviews.

It is a work in progress.

Who's working on it? According to any themes or guidelines? Just curious. :)

There's no guidelines yet, as we have to figure out an aspect of the software that is giving us issues. It will eventually be a guide similar to what you find on Liveaquaria with stats for different fish, corals and inverts.

Once we get the foundation laid, we look forward to having the community help with filling up the section with useful data.

The name "Showcase" will be changed as well, but we're really just at step 1 of figuring this out.
