What is the worst fish ever?

My six line was Dr. Jekyll and Hyde. Probably the 8th fish I added to my 133 gallon years ago. I think my aqua scape was perfect for a fish like that, it was great to watch it meander in and out of rocks and do its patrolling through the reef scape. It would always come to the front of the tank, and I would be right next to the glass, watching that little guy show off, doing displays with its fins, watching the curious eyes move like other wrasses and his little mouth move with his antics. There were two tangs at that time and my sailfin was a pretty animated tank boss as well, but the six line would never really accommodate a new addition. Before I assembled a tank screen cover, I watched the six line chase a neon dottyback all through the tank. Moments later, the dottyback shot out of my tank like a missile, over the light mount, and hit the back wall 7 feet from the floor. Maybe a year later the six line and sailfin put an all out assault on a rose banded fairy wrasse that was sent to me by accident instead of the fish I made an order for. My mistake for throwing that poor rose band to the wolves, but every time I went to the tank, there was my six line being playful in display and happy to receive some attention.

While fish can be evil I think I have to give award for most evil aquatic life to my Coral Banded Shrimp that just ate my barnacle blenny :,(

I'm curious what you all think
ı had a bad clown triggerfish that ate my chalices! and ı had a undulate triggerfish. ı kept all of the triggerfish specıes except titan trıggerfish. but among all ı kept, the worst was undulate trıggerfısh..

Extreme digging, blows substrate on corals. Makes aquascape unsteady.

Blue devil damsel. Had it for a week. Killed small flame angel, ruby red shrimp, now munching on green mandarin.

Wife loves him so hopefully he is done with killing spree.

Years ago I had what I called the "******* tank" where I kept my troublemakers. In the end it was just a female clownfish because she killed everything else, including the tang, the damsels, and the dottyback.
At the center we had a sump called Cell Block D.

I haven’t ever had any fish that have been extremely aggressive….but, I do have a clownfish that I’ve been told is highly aggressive…but he’s lived in solitary ever since I got him a few years back. Honestly, I think my “worst” fish is my blue spot puffer…I love him to death, but he just finished eating my monti coral, and has started in on the Duncan. :expressionless-face:

I have a couple on my list...
Japanese Golden Hawk - Literally the biggest jerk EVER. It chases things to no end, has jumped out twice, and when I gave it back to the LFS they had to give him a tank of his own because it ate a fish's eyeball -_-
Burr Fish - In an effort to ease my frustrations with my reef I started a fish only tank. Two days after introducing this fish into my tank he almost destroyed a Niger Trigger AND a Blue Face Angel. He went right back.
And finally, the worst of them all.....
A big adult female maroon clown that was too smart for me. She was uncatchable but she sure could bite the bajezuz out of me anytime my hand went in the tank. I had to drain the 600 for that fish. Never. Again.

You could be right He might have been the Po Po chasing down the murder Neither one of bothers my O. clown...
Update: Tigger ...well, lets us say RIP. he was starting to look bad. i'm not sure if it was velvet or not. But, it the looks of it. Now, we're down to two....
One thing for sure, these two are the hardiest fish I've owned. I left for vacation 12/21. I don't have a feeder, so I dropped a cube and a half of Feezed Dried Brine shrimp. hoping that NOW i only have worry about feeding two small bellies.

I came home 1/5/25 to this:

These guys are Troopers! I thought they'd be belly up from not being fed! ...the pump was sucking air, smh

Had two maroons in QT tank. They about killed each other. And I thought a **** fight is nuts! There were parts of fins flying around. Go in to break them up, and ended up with one biting down on the net like a piranha! And did not let until I physically saved the net from literally as stated on page one satans spawn! Haha!

A fully grown 5” + - maroon will draw blood every time!
