I’ve had this devils hand leather for about 8-9 months and it was doing excellent. It has quadrupled in size since I’ve had it and it would open up beautifully every day. For the last few days it has been all closed up and I assumed it was shedding as it does from time to time and it opens up beautifully immediately after. But today I noticed these black specks all over it. Can anyone tell me what this could be? I’ve never seen it before. Thanks.

Do they move? There are certain types of worms that scavenge on coral, etc - without damaging it. Is your coral opening - otherwise normally? You implied it was - but I'm not sure.
