What is this? Dot from frogspawn?

I have an LPS dominate tank and just noticed this bright dot on my sand bed and trying to figure out what it is... there's a small hammer directly above it on the rocks (hammer on right hand side of 2nd picture), but it looks like one of the "dots" from my frogspawn which has been the least "happy" the last few days of any of my LPS but its new only been in tank for about a week.

Some help on what it is and why its there would be great. TIA!

To me, it looks like a polyp bailout. Your frogspawn looks fine to me.

What are you running your parameters at?

I've also found the occassional dot in my tanks over the years, I never found the cause of it, all corals seemed fine and nothing ever came out of it. I don't think its necessarily a bad thing. perhaps a way to spread? perhaps self amputation of a sick tentacle? IDK

Ok yea, was kind of thinking the same thing, im not very worried about it, since all corals are looking happy including the torches.

Was kinda hoping it might be a way to spread. Either way ill just leave it alone and see if anything comes from it.
