So I have a 5G bucket for my dirty filter socks and while changing out some filter socks I spot this pink color on a lot of the socks in the bin (they are dirty socks).

This is the first time I am seeing this and the bucket smells like its sulphur splender that it usually is.

Anyone know what this is?

Add water & bleach!! It's what I do. Let em soak till you have enough of a load for the washing machine, then dump it all in. [emoji106]
That's what I already do.. I wait till my months supply of socks are gone then I wash them all. I have just never seen this happen before.

I find this cool as I thought Cyano needed to be under water. That and I don't have a speck of it in my tank... Yet! [emoji38]

Just grow it: Have you ever added CO2 to your reef tank?
