Hello,

I have had some new frags on my drag rack for a while and have noticed a bunch of tiny hair like things with little “flowery” heads extending out from the bottom base of the corals. Also, there are these white spirally, tube like things. What is this stuff? See photos.

Thanks for the reply. I am feeding the tank WWC reef mix in very small quantities 1x/day. Only animals in tank are 2 clownfish, a cleaner shrimp, and a handful of frags on a rack. Should I cut back feeding?

No, that's fine as long as the food is mostly eaten. If you wanna starve them out use pellets for a month or 2 so there's less particulates for them to eat. I've found that the ones that ive had to be pretty harmless overall though so that's your call
