Thank you! Yeah my tank is totally overloaded with dang BTA's!! I really want to get rid of most, down to about 2 or 3. But that is proving to be rather difficult for a few reasons. IF anyone lives in or near Virginia Coastline please let me know if you would like 20 or 30 BTA's!I also agree that it looks like dom king of sting based off of the pattern of it and the coloration, and I am guessing it was most likely an anemone sting, but that is just me

Thank you Jay!! I did do some pretty serious and lengthy cleaning up of cyanobacteria last night. The fish is growing quite a bit and I really do have WAY TOO MANY anemones now. I do NOT want to take them out and just pitch them but I have got to do something! There is only one LFS that I would trust giving them to, and he is only open Wednesday thru Saturday. So timing is rather tough.I agree, the rapid onset indicates a probable sting. Also, it looks like the fin shielded stings, as the pattern on the body seems to follow the outline of the fin.
However, I’m wondering why this fish hasn’t been stung before? Did anything in the tank change? Could something have scared it?
Thank you. No urchin anymore, so I am thinking anemone. I did some very extensive cyano cleaning last night, si I may have spooked him a bit. He is overall very healthy, and I always use Selcon in their food, so I am hoping he will be fine. His appetite is great this morning!I suspect puncture wounds from an urchin if you have one otherwise a sting pattern they often get when trying to get to food which has fallen within
