Oh God I now need to learn about how to fight them

I got rid of them in my new tank by lowering lights to 5 percent and feeding half of my usual feeding. It worked for me, and everything went back to normal within 2 weeks.

.. i have to add. My tuxedo urchin helped a lot too.

What are your water parameters? These can be caused by to much nutrients. :)
I actually just started writing down parameters. I can post them when i get home. But i didn't record the parameters when i had the issue. But im also pretty sure it was the feeding. Plus is a new tank.

How old is your tank? And also, does this go way when the lights go out and come back when lights come on? And are there any snot-like bubbles on the surface?
