Was cleaning my tank this morning and came across this sack. Are they eggs? Tried to post the best pic I could get on the sand in front of the rock.

Not a clue! But commenting to help move it along to someone who can answer.

Is it the remains of a fish sleeping bag from last night? Some fish create cocoons to sleep in for safety.
Do you know what fish thats common with I have had the same group in here for awhile now and havent ever seen it

Perhaps a wrasse? My exquisite fairy wrasse makes these. I only see the remains rarely.

Would make sense my wrasses were the last to be added

I’m pretty sure wrasses that don’t sleep under sand make cocoons instead. Not sure about other aquarium fish though I remember seeing this in the wild when diving with big parrotfish.

That's so cool I have never heard of it before.
YEP! My six line does it. I didn't know it either then I saw this clear pillowy looking thing floating around my tank one morning. I had to do some research before I got the answer. I have seen it several times since then. But not always. Sometimes it just disappears.
