I have had this milli for around 5-6 months. Since I have had it the color has been great, super polyp extension and it seems perfectly healthy. The issue is that I have had absolutely ZERO tip growth, but look how much it has encrusted down! Why would it encrust down, but not grow tall?

Some acros are just like that especially a Red Planet. Flow plays a part too IMO.

I have seen it mentioned that it is possibly not getting enough flow in its current location and is thus expanding to find the flow. I have experienced this myself with my red planet which was not getting enough flow and just encrusting. I adjusted my flow pattern and it began growing out a branch and at the end of the branch it has a knob which is forming a multi-branching structure in the middle of the flow area.
