Sometimes in our tanks, we grow to like a specific kinda of coral. Maybe it is zoas, montis. Or hammers, just to name a few. I am wondering, is there a go-to coral you seem to add more than others to your tank?

Montipora in the high light zones and chalice corals in the low light zones in my mixed reef. Those are the corals that I have multiple different specimens of.

currently in my tank it's my vivids insanity sps. eagerly waiting for it to color up but its still a little frag.

in general i like most corals, but i am partial to SPS. if its a slow/medium grower i'd likely have it in my tank. fast growing stuff tends make it more difficult for me to keep up with ALK consumption.

Anacropora....I had a small head that grew into a bushel....so far, I've traded it(a piece of it) to a LFS for $40 and got a Indo Torch for $25 basically...and now all the frags that accidentally bump or break off are planted throughout my tank...it's an Anacropora world now....get in where you fit In fools!!
