What is your skimmer and are you happy with it?

I have an octopus nw150 on my 65 that works awesome, and a aqua c urchin on my 37 i don't really like.

I don't like the urchin because if you don't clean the crud from the neck every day the effectiveness declines rapidly.

The octopus has the mesh wheel mod and it works like a champ, only problem is when i turn off the pump to clean it, upon restarting the pump i have to blow into the venturi to get it jump started. It pulls some real nasty skimmate out though.

I use a ZeroDOC180 Skimmer from www.Cheapfrags.com and I love it

You could always upgrade the pump.....

What pump should I get?

i have a euroreef 8-1 with sedra 5000 (meshmodded) it rocks


also a h&s 110-F2000 it is a good skimmer



but i am trading up to a bubbleking if they are still in stock
